Remote Image Capture

J&B Software's Remote Image Capture solution quickly captures document images at one or more remote locations using small branch capture scanning devices, which then interfaces with payment processing and accounting systems and supplies real-time information to operations and management. By adopting J&B's Remote Image Capture solution, your organization will benefit with an improvement in float time and a reduction in paper-handling risk and infrastructure costs.

The Solution consists of either a Rich client (NDM) or a browser-based client (eCapture) located at the branches and an NDM Server located at the central processing center. Data and images are captured at remote locations using either desktop check scanners or twain compatible scanners that can scan checks, coupons and full pages or a combination of the two. MICR, OCR, Barcode recognition will either be done at the client or at the server depending on the type of client and scanners used. The software will also perform CAR and Image Quality Usability and Assurance.

The NDM Client can capture and transmit all types of transactions and document sizes, thus minimizing transaction costs and human error. Data is sent real-time to the central processing facility that provides status notification and reports to verify a deposit and then feeds information to your legacy accounting or other systems. All reporting, configuration, user management and data-storage are centralized at the NDM Server location at the central processing facility.
